August 2007

We have recently developed specifically for Nat Grid pipeline workers a number of garments suitable for wear in extreme conditions but which are still stylish and user friendly.

The brief we received was to create a range of clothing for personnel working outside in extreme conditions, which adhere to stringent safety standards, are very durable and comfortable whilst retaining a degree of style similar to branded products, which can be purchased from High street Retailers but at considerably lower prices.

We carried out a survey to determine what the Personnel chose to wear rather than were forced to wear and also what some of the most popular brands where offering and came up with items, which both the customer and we believe, are a first for the industry Hardwearing Workwear with attitude!

The range consists of the following items

Waterproof  suit made from heavyweight nylon taslon with taped seams, scuff resistant panels and 3M reflective panels to both tops and trousers which conform to EN 471.

Padded 12oz canvas jackets with 3M reflective panels and matching trousers which also conform to EN471.

Long sleeve Birdseye polyester polo style shirts with contrast piping in orange and 3M reflective panels.

Don’t be surprised if you see these down the pub.
